Dispatch & Delivery

All orders are handmade to order and have a standard dispatch time of 1–2 working days from the date the order is placed. This is the time required for us to make and prepare your order and is in addition to Royal Mail’s estimated delivery time.

Once dispatched:

Royal Mail 2nd Class aims to deliver within 2–3 working days.

Royal Mail 1st Class aims to deliver within 1 working day.

Both Royal Mail 1st Class and 2nd Class postage options offered by Toppers by Lucy are untracked services. Customers will therefore not receive live tracking information or be able to track the progress of their parcel through the postal network.

Please note that Royal Mail delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Working days exclude Sundays and public/bank holidays.

Once your order has been dispatched and passed to Royal Mail, its delivery is outside the control of Toppers by Lucy. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail or circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

If your topper is required for a specific date or event, please order with plenty of time to allow for both our 1–2 working day dispatch time and potential postal delays.

Choosing 1st Class delivery does not reduce our 1–2 working day dispatch time and does not guarantee next-day delivery. The postage option selected relates only to Royal Mail’s delivery service once your order has been dispatched.

Refunds & Exchanges

Items that have been personalised are not eligible for a refund or exchange.

However, in rare cases where an item arrives damages, please contact us immediately to arrange a refund or exchange; do not use the item. You may be asked to return the item.

Cake Topper Safety Information

All cake toppers and cake decorations sold by us are for decorative purposes only and are not edible.

Toppers must be removed from the cake before cutting, serving or consuming the cake. Please ensure that all components, including any sticks, spikes, charms or other decorative elements, are completely removed before consumption.

Our products may contain small parts and can pose a choking hazard. They are not toys and should be kept out of reach of babies and young children. Children should not be allowed to handle or play with cake toppers without appropriate adult supervision.

By purchasing and using our products, the customer accepts responsibility for ensuring that the topper is used safely and removed before the cake is consumed.
